About
Competitive play should be fun and rewarding
Team Infinity is a pro sponsored team built around competitive Magic: The Gathering — specifically cEDH, where four players sit down with the strongest decks the format allows and the best line wins. We compete as part of the PlayCTA.org league.
Competitive Magic has a reputation for being grim. We don't buy it. The format rewards preparation, reading a table and making the right call under pressure — that's the fun part, and it gets better the higher the level of play. Our job as a team is to make sure that effort is also rewarded: with sponsorship instead of out-of-pocket entry fees, with real kit instead of a printed proxy of a team, and with a structure that treats results seriously.
That's why we run actual player contracts and track win rates. Not to make the game feel like work, but so that everyone on the roster knows exactly what they signed up for and exactly what they get back.
Fun is the point
High-level cEDH is the most interesting format in Magic. If the pod stops being fun, we've lost the reason we started. Sharp play and good table talk are not opposites.
Rewarding effort
Reps should pay off. Sponsorship, kit, event support and a seat at real competition are how we make sure the hours spent testing turn into something tangible.
Accountability
Player contracts and win rates are enforced. Everyone knows the standard, everyone is measured the same way, and nobody is carried.
No gatekeeping
We share lines, lists and prep openly. A stronger local scene makes better opponents, and better opponents make a better team.
